Do you walk or ride on the Waskerley Way Railway Path?

Then come along to a Ranger Roadshow on Saturday 30 June.

Meet the Countryside Ranger, find out about volunteering, guided walks and other places to visit.

You can also get a free bicycle bell if you share your views with us.

We’ll also be doing a count at various points along the Waskerley Way of the numbers of people who use the site.

• Saturday 30 June

• Park Head Station between 10am and 12 noon

• Rowley Station picnic area between 12.30 and 2.30pm

Waskerley Way Consett to Stanhope

From 30 April 2012 work will begin on resurfacing a 2.5 mile stretch of the Railway Path between Whitehall picnic area and Burnhill. Weather permitting this will take around five weeks. Please take care through the site and follow any signs on site or directions given by staff. Thank you for your patience during this time.
