Join us for a fantastic traffic-free bike ride in Newcastle Gateshead this July.

Sky Ride Newcastle Gateshead is a great opportunity to ride with family and friends in the city centre this summer. There’ll be loads of free things for the whole family to do on the day, so get your bikes ready and come and join us!

We’re also proud to announce that six time Olympic gold medalist, Sir Chris Hoy will attend Sky Ride Newcastle Gateshead on Saturday, 27th July.

Sky Ride Newcastle Gateshead is supported by Halfords cycle experts who are on hand to make sure that your bike is in top shape for your ride. Whether it’s a wonky handlebar or a rusty chain, the Halfords team will be there to help, so pop in and see them or keep an eye out for them on the route.

If you’re heading down to Sky Ride Newcastle Gateshead, be sure to pop by and see Jaffa at the Bike Cafe to grab some delicious Jaffa fruit. As well as nutritious fruit, they’ll also be handing out Jaffa reflectors, ponchos and Tesco vouchers.

Stockton Cycling Festival » Stockton Events

Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive

 

Why not join the hundreds of riders, of all abilities, expected to take part in the fantastic Stockton Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive? Riders can enjoy a “Tour de France” style start as they are escorted out of Stockton on closed roads onto one of four scenic routes. Now in it’s third year this really is an event not to be missed!

Coxhoe’s Limestone LinX-Evening Ride – Sky Ride

First evening ride of the year has now been arranged. It’s a 7mile circular around Coxhoe and the surrounding villages using the Limestone LinX cycle paths…and on return an optional visit to sample the delights of the Wabi Sabi tearoom.
